Robert Charles Goewey, Jr., age 74, of Iberia, passed away on Monday, January 22, 2024, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia.  He was born in Pittsfield, Illinois, on September 4, 1949, son of the late Robert and Betty Lou (Miller) Goewey.

He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Ritz; grandson, Timothy Goewey; two great-grandchildren, Jeremiah Goewey and Jessica Goewey; two brothers, William Goewey and Ronald Goewey; sister, Brenda Conkright; and numerous family and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother, Charlie Goewey.

A private inurnment will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
