Robert "Bob" Scheulen, age 57, of Meta, passed away Monday, January 30, 2012, at his home. He was born in Meta on October 11, 1954, son of the late Lawrence and Agatha (Rehagen) Scheulen. On October 22, 1977, in Meta, Robert married Barbara Ann Wankum, who survives at the home.

Robert was employed at ABB in Jefferson City for 31 years.

He is also survived by two daughters, Tracy Strutton and husband Josh of St. Anthony and Kayla Strutton and husband Damien of Crocker; five grandchildren, Audrey Strutton, Lexis Strutton, Kaitlyn Strutton, Seth Strutton, and Gavin Strutton; one sister, Phyllis Brand and husband Bill of St. Anthony; two brothers, Lawrence "Junior" Scheulen of Koeltztown and Leroy Scheulen and wife Judy of Wardsville; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by one brother, James Scheulen.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., with a funeral service immediately following at 7 p.m., on Friday, February 3, 2012, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta. Rev. Mark Porterfield will officiate. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
