Robert E. Schubert, age 73, of Brumley, passed away on Wednesday, July 21, 2021, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. He was born in Festus on September 10, 1947, son of the late Carl Schubert Sr. and Irene (Neff) Woodland. In 1970, Robert was united in marriage to Solona Charlotte Curtright, who survives at their home.

Robert honorably served in the United States Navy (1965-1968) during Vietnam as an E5- Petty Officer Second Class. He was a member of the Iberia Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlotte Schubert of Iberia; four children Bobbie Rogers and Len Riddell, Robert Schubert Jr. and wife Deana, Annie Long and husband KC, and Mathew Schubert and Ashley Rodden all of Iberia; grandchildren, Kevin Schubert and Katherine Miller, Kimberley Goodman and husband Greg, Tyler Lucas and Shay Lucas, Mathew Schubert, Michael Schubert, Rider, Cortney, Robert, Cheyenne, Sasha, Skyler, and Brandon; great-grandchildren, Dameon, Todd, Lincoln, Adian, Killian, and Lorelai al of Iberia; brother Carl Schubert Jr. of Holcomb; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Irene Woodland and Carl Schubert; sister Patricia Kelly; and one great-granddaughter, Ellie Rose Schubert

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021, at Iberia Cemetery in Iberia.
