Robert Clarence Shepherd, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away in his home on December 28, 2023. Born on November 1, 1951, he was preceded in death by his parents Clarence E. Shepherd and Lucille Cox, and dear sister Gloria Eiler.

In 1987, Robert married Linda F Shepherd, and together they built a loving family. Surviving to cherish his memory, he leaves behind his wife Linda F. Shepherd, daughters Alycia Jacks and Lora Torres, son Robert Shepherd, and grandchildren Caleb Torres and Cadence Torres.

Both a God fearing and God loving man, Robert loved to play golf, coached baseball and softball, and fished in his younger years. His life was a testament to fairness, kindness, and a deep commitment to family. He sought to protect, provide, and leave a lasting legacy for his loved ones.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, January 9, at Hickory Point Cemetery in Iberia.
