Robin L. Barton, age 45, of Iberia, died Monday, July 14, 2008, at Lake Regional Hospital. She was born in Iberia on March 3, 1963, daughter of Harold Wayne and Vivian Rae (Vaught) Jones. On December 24, 1998, in Iberia, she was married to Jim Barton, who survives at the home.

She was a member of Victory Hill Baptist Church near Dixon.

Other survivors include two sons, Cameron Barton of the home and Christopher Barton of Eldon; one daughter, Kara Barton of the home; one granddaughter, Taylor Barton of Eldon; her father, Harold Jones and wife Sharon of Sweetwater, Tennessee; four brothers, Richard Brawley and wife Faye of the state of Mississippi, Raymond Jones and wife Tammy of Brumley, and Robert Jones and wife Lena and Randel Jones all of Iberia; two sisters, Rebecca Jones of Iberia, and Doris Jones and Tracy Wilson of Iberia; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 17 at Victory Hill Baptist Church near Dixon. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Dennis Nichols officiating.
