Rodney D. Shadow, age 38, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, August 1, 2015, at his home. He was born in Rolla on February 18, 1977, son of Larry and JoAnn (Moss) Shadow. On March 31, 2001, at New Salem Baptist Church near Dixon, Rodney married Ruth Louise Miller, who survives at the home.

Rodney is a 1995 graduate of Iberia High School. After graduation Rodney began his working career as a heavy equipment operator. He is a member of the Local Operating Engineer Union 513.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth Shadow; two sons, Dalton and Derick Shadow of the home; parents, Larry and JoAnn Shadow of Iberia; two brothers, Roy Shadow and wife Renee of Dixon and Ray Shadow and wife Dede of Iberia; half-brother, Larry Shadow Jr. of Iberia; and mother-in-law, Berneice Miller of Linn.

He was preceded in death by one infant brother, Troy Shadow.

Service will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 5, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Kevin Blackburn will officiate. Interment will be in Freedom Cemetery near Dixon.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 4, at the funeral home.
