Ronald C. Irwin, age 76, of Iberia, passed away Tuesday, July 20, 2010, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. He was born in Iberia on November 28, 1933, son of the late Curtis and Charlotte "Lottie" Fern (Burks) Irwin. On August 10, 1960, in Kansas City, Missouri, Ronald married Patty Ann Shipman, who survives at the home.
Ronald formerly attended First Assembly of God church, and was baptized in Barren Fork Creek near Iberia on July 22, 1984. He recently attended the Brumley Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Pat Irwin; one daughter, Michelle Gross and husband Jack of Milton, Florida; one step daughter, Linda Tamez of Benton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Chrissy Bax of Milton, Florida and Levi Bax of Jacksonville, Florida; four step grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; one sister, Inez Claxton of Springfield; and two brothers, Roger Irwin of Kansas City and Robert Irwin of Dayton, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Eula Sneed.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 23, 2010, in Iberia Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Higbie will officiate.
