Ronald L. Smith, age 48, of Kaiser, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. He was born in Bellville, Illinois, on October 5, 1963, son of the late Roy and Wynora (Lilly) Smith. On August 24, 2006, in Lake Ozark, Ronald married Ragenia Emmerich, who survives at the home.
He is also survived by one daughter, Lilly Smith of Kaiser; two step-daughters, Chrissy Bax of Eldon and Trish Callison of Lake Ozark; two step-sons, Rodney Bax of St. Elizabeth and Cody Bax of Eldon; seven step-grandchildren; four brothers, and 3 sisters; and several nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by one sister, two brothers, one niece, and one nephew.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Brumley Lighthouse Baptist Church. Pastor Eric Shaw will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Ronald Smith Memorial Fund.
