Rosemary "Curly" Douglas, age 83, of Olean, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, at her home. She was born in Brumley on February 14, 1933, daughter of the late Milton and Opal (Duncan) Luttrell. On June 27, 1965, in Independence, Rosemary married Kenneth "Buck" Douglas, who survives at the home.

In addition to her husband Buck Douglas, she is also survived by one son, Kevin Douglas and wife Susan of Eldon; four daughters, Marilyn Conway and husband Tom of Kansas City, Shelia Dennis and husband George of Grandview, Janet McGowan and husband Terry of Crocker, and Jeanne Carrall of Lenexa, KS; 11 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and five sisters, Dorlas Gilliam, Lois Pemberton, Shirley Smith, Patsy Rodden and Karen Barnett.

She was preceded in death by one son, Steve Cottrell; one grandson, Jeremy Engelmohr; and three sisters, Bonnie Smith, Alice Wooldridge, and Joyce Luttrell.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at noon, on Saturday, March 12, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Chaplain Bart Larson will officiate. A private graveside service will be held at Robinett Cemetery near Brumley at a later date.
