Obituary
Roy Andrew Bear, age 71, of Grandview, died Friday, May 23, 2008, at Kindred Hospital in Kansas City. He was born in Tuscumbia on October 27, 1936, son of George William and Jennie (Roberts) Bear. On April 6, 1959, in Kansas City, he was married to Doris Lucille Myers who survives at the home.
Other survivors include one son, Robert Bear of Grandview; one granddaughter, Jesse Bear of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and other family and friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 28, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Gene Edwards officiating. Interment will be in Hickory Point Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association.
