Ruby Kathryn (Rogers) Lincoln McKenzie, age 87, of Eldon, died Monday, December 12, 2005, at Eldon Nursing and Rehab. She was born in Moscow, Kentucky on August 9, 1918, a daughter of the late Rev. J.L. & Mary Rogers. On March 9, 1937, she was married to Claude C. Lincoln, who preceded her in death in February 1975. On January 19, 1976, she was married to William B. McKenzie, who preceded her in death in March 1990.
She was a member of First Assembly of God Church in Eldon.
Those who survive her include: two sons, Don Lincoln and his wife June of Dexter and James Lincoln and his wife Judy of Eldon; two daughters, Brenda Miller and her husband Glenn of Stover and Nelda Dasal and her husband Pickett of Eldon; one brother Ray Rogers and his wife Ann of Sarasota, Florida; eleven grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Two brothers, John and David Rogers and five sisters, Mary Alice Bell, Juanita Ratliff, Nell Frances McNeely, Jeanette Johnson and Robbie Fay Rogers, also preceded her in death.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14, at First Assembly of God Church in Eldon. Rev. Martha Tennison and Rev. James Hedrick will officiate. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 15, at Ford & Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel in Cape Girardeau. Interment will be in Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery near Cape Girardeau immediately following the memorial service.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday at First Assembly of God Church in Eldon.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
