Obituary
Ruth Ann Robinett, age 63, of Iberia, passed away on Monday, August 17, 2009, at her daughter's home in Vienna. She was born in Norwich, Connecticut, on November 29, 1945, daughter of Charles Ross and Evelyn Irene (Wright) Hodges. Ruth Ann married James F. Robinett, who preceded her in death in 1984.
She is survived by two daughters, Cindy Durkee of Florida and Patti Robinett of Vienna; one son, Jimmy Robinett of Iberia; three grandchildren, Brandon Durkee of Florida, Raven Rickerson of Iberia, and Paige Robinett of Iberia; one brother, Bruce Hodges of Florida; and one sister, Carolyn Montgomery of Virginia.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ross Hodges.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m., with memorial services immediately following at 1:00 p.m., on Saturday, August 22, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Larry Young will officiate. A graveside service will be held in New Hope Cemetery in Kaiser following the memorial.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Ruth Robinett Memorial Fund.
