Ruth Geneva Witt, age 73, of Iberia, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2018, at her home. She was born in Miller County on October 19, 1944, daughter of the late Charlie and Ruth (Luttrell) Robinett. On November 4, 1960, she married Jerry Witt, who survives at the home.

Ruth was a member of Concord Christian Church.

In addition to her husband, Jerry Witt, she is survived by three sons, Mike Witt and wife Trish, Gerald Witt and wife Maggie, and Stacy Witt and wife Betty all of Iberia; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Terry and Aaron Robinett; six sisters, Mary Myers, Faye King, Diana Jeffries, Kathy Lawson, Tina Garmany, and Brenda Pritchett; and several nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, grandson, Jared Witt, and two brothers, Dwayne and Ronnie Robinett.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Monday, January 8, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Freddie Earp will officiate. Interment will be held in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Ruth Geneva Witt Memorial Fund.
