Sally June Gladden, age 54, of Iberia, departed this life for her heavenly home on Monday, June 17, 2019, at University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics in Columbia. She was born in Iberia on June 15, 1965, daughter of the late Carlos and Blanche (Farrow) Helton. In May of 2013, Sally married Jeff Gladden, who survives at their home.

Sally spent many years of her life working with the elderly and disabled. She was a light in the lives of the many people who knew and loved her. Sally enjoyed spending time with her beloved family, especially her grandchildren, enjoying every second she got to be with them and longed for many more.

Sally's faith and fight for life was something to be admired, as she battled so hard for the last year against lymphoma. She will be missed more than words can say.

In addition to her husband, Jeff Gladden, those left to mourn her passing are five daughters, Liz French (Tiffany Kelly) of Vienna, Erica Nilges (Henry) of St. Elizabeth, Sarah Humphrey (Jared) of Vienna, Makayla Fierce (Dakota) of Ft. Leonard Wood, and Mariah Gladden (Gabe Moore) of St. Elizabeth; nine grandchildren, Kyli Ballard, Meagan Kelley, Caden Kelley, Kendall Wieberg, August "Gus" Nilges, Ace Helton, Jett Humphrey, Tye Humphrey, and Hunter Moore; four siblings, Bill Helton (Sharon) of Iberia, Cindy Hilkemeyer (Rick) of Freeburg, Joe Helton (Brenda) of Iberia, and Carol Helton of Jefferson City; loving in-laws, John and Donna Gladden of Iberia; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by parents, Carlos and Blanche Helton; two sisters, Debbie Rowden and Judy Malone; and one niece, Stephanie Rowden.

Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Thursday, June 20, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Gary Rowden officiating. Interment will be held in Iberia Cemetery.
