Saryn Elizabeth Milam, age 19, of Brumley, passed away due to injuries sustained in a single car accident on Tuesday, April 21, 2015, near Iberia. She was born in Clovis, California, on October 27, 1995, daughter of Jeremy and Megan (Smiley) Milam.
Saryn is a graduate of Excelsior Springs High School. She was planning to attend Ozark Technical College in Springfield this fall. She had a passion for music and theatre. Saryn was a loving and generous girl, who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Jeremy and Megan Milam of Brumley, she is survived by three siblings, Drew Milam of Kansas City, Makenna Milam of Brumley, and Wayman Brody Milam of Brumley; three foster siblings, Crystal Duncan and husband Wesley of Wahoo, NE, Joshua Lyons of Kansas City, and Kimberly Gary of Clovis, CA; six nieces and nephews; maternal grandparents, Darrin and Kris Smiley of Fresno, CA; paternal grandmother, Sallyann Lopez and husband Bruce of Phoenix, AZ; paternal great-grandmother, Carmen Marquez of Madera, CA; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Wayman Milam; great- grandfather, Gilbert Marquez; maternal great-grandmother, Louise Mueller; maternal great-uncle, Daniel Edwards, and maternal great-grandfather, Jack Edwards.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2015, at Liberty Christian Fellowship Church, 1815 West Liberty Drive, Liberty, MO 64068.
