Sasha Nicole Shalbot, age 16, of Iberia, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. She was born in Jefferson City on December 28, 1989, a daughter of James Leslie and Donna Faye (Wall) Shalbot. Her father preceded her in death in 2005 and her mother survives at the home.
She was a sophomore at Iberia High School. She was deeply loved by family and friends.
Other survivors include two brothers, Shane Shalbot of Amarillo, Texas, and Tyler Shalbot of the home; and two sisters, Leslie Shalbot of Lake Ozark and Lacy Shalbot of Salem.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 24, 2006, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Gary Rowden will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Sasha Shalbot Memorial Fund.
