Scott Daniel Otto, age 23, of Meta, died Friday, December 30, 2005, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born in Jefferson City on June 22, 1982, a son of Kenneth and Leona (Hake) Otto. His parents survive in Meta. On August 30, 2002, in Vienna, he was married to Brandi Nicole Jensen, who survives at the home.

He was a 2000 graduate of Fatima High School in Westphalia and was employed with DeLong's Steel, Inc. in Jefferson City. He was a member of St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta.

Other survivors include: three children, Kody Fletcher, Bryce Bliss, and Hannah Rose Otto; two brothers, Kenneth L. Otto of Wardsville and Gabriel J. Otto of Argyle; one sister, Lynn Layton of Meta; and his paternal grandmother, Bernadine Otto of Meta.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 4, 2006, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Meta. Rev. John Schutty will officiate. Interment will be in St. Cecilia Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Church with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m.

Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.
