Shannon Whittle, age 38, of Macks Creek, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2015, at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia. She was born in Springfield on December 28, 1976, daughter of Kerry and Lolly (Coyne) Whittle.
Shannon had an adventurous spirit and loved spending time outdoors and with her family. Her many nieces and nephews were especially precious to her. She was baptized at the Gasconade Christian Service Camp with the Iberia First Christian Church.
Shannon's final act was to give the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
She is survived by three sons, Tyler Martin and fiancé Sabrina, Matthew Martin, and Kort Martin all of Camdenton; her parents, Kerry and Lolly Whittle of Montreal; one brother, Jason Whittle and wife Natalie of Camdenton; two sisters, Kristen West and husband C.O. of Lee's Summit, and Kelly Pemberton and husband Gary of Iberia; many beloved nieces and nephews, Claire, Olivia, Annie, Mia, Garrett, and Judah Whittle; Arianna, Makaylin, and Charlize West; Shaylea, Isaac, Nolan, and Simon Pemberton; her boyfriend, Dale Tabor; and precious aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Gene and Beryl Whittle and maternal grandparents, Jim Coyne and Jane Hardy.
Her service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at Iberia First Christian Church in Iberia. Rev. Stan Way will officiate. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Iberia.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m., on Friday, May 8, 2015, at the church.
