Shawn Patrick Eikel, age 50, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024.  He was born in Kansas City, Missouri, on September 26, 1973.

Shawn was currently residing in Iberia with his fiancée Nichole Biondo.  He loved working on trucks and anything to do with horses.  He loved the outdoors and taking things apart just to repair them.  He loved being at home and with his family.  Shawn was very proud of his daughter, Shelby Eikel. He loved that she loved fishing just as much as he did.  Not only did he enjoy taking and spending time with Shelby, but he was also a good and loving uncle.

He loved playing pool with all the kids.  His humor was contagious, he would randomly act silly or make you laugh.  With his big heart and fierce loyalty, Shawn was a wonderful father, son, brother, uncle, friend, and partner.  Always putting those he loved before himself.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelby Eikel; fiancée, Nichole Biondo; sister, Tammi McCoy and husband Greg; two nephews; one niece; and numerous family and friends.  He will forever be loved by those he left behind.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Lentz, and two nephews, Joshua Clark and Brandon McCoy.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
