Obituary
Shawn Dale Smith, age 30, of Iberia, died Friday, January 4, 2008, in Iberia. He was born in Columbia on November 30, 1977, son of Delbert I. and Connie S. (Long) Smith. His mother survives in Tuscumbia.
He loved life and enjoyed traveling to different places.
Other survivors include one sister, Theresa Long of Iberia and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Rodney Smith.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12 noon on Tuesday, January 8, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Services will follow at 12 noon at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
