Sheila Kaye Seaton, age 75, of Meta, passed away Friday, November 12, 2010, at Maries Manor in Vienna. She was born in St. Louis on August 24, 1935, daughter of the late Eugene and Dorothy (Brown) Goodman. On April 11, 1959, in Dixon, Sheila married Walter Rosell Seaton, who preceded her in death on January 1, 1988.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She worked for several years as a Maries County Election Official. Sheila was a member of Campground Christian Church and was previously a member of Hancock Christian Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Deloris Fagre and husband Ed of Meta; two grandchildren, Justin "Budd" Fagre of Meta and Lucinda "Cindy" Siemons and husband Jason of Jefferson City; one sister, Norma Robertson and husband Donald of Hayden; one sister-in-law, Ildean Grosvenor of St. Robert; one niece, Dorothy Rex and husband Jonathan of Hayden; three nephews, Les Robertson and wife Tina of Bell, Doug Grosvenor and wife Peggy of Laquey, and Don Grosvenor of Crocker; and several great-nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Warren Goodman and Robert Goodman; one brother-in-law, Harold Grosvenor; and one nephew, Terry Grosvenor.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Manuel Seaton will officiate. Interment will be in Seaton Cemetery near Dixon.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, November 15, at the funeral home.
