Sherrie Belle (Phillips) Maylee, age 57, of Iberia, passed away on Saturday, November 27, at Jefferson City Manor.  She was born in Tuscumbia on September 22, 1964, daughter of the late Billy and Dorothy (Cochran) Phillips.

Sherrie was employed at The Golden Door in Osage Beach for almost 30 years. Sherrie had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others and never expected anything in return.  She will be dearly missed by her family and friends, who were all blessed to have Sherrie in their lives.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce Maylee; son, David Maylee; three grandchildren, Gavin, Kyra and Maddie; three sisters, Karla Evers (Norm), Debbie Farrow, and Stella Onstott (Greg); two brothers, Jacob Steen (Tiffany) and Todd Steen; Mike Steen; and numerous family and friends.

She was preceded in death by two sons, B.J. Maylee and Dalton Maylee; parents, Billy and Dorothy Phillips and Judy Steen; two brothers, Buckey Phillips and Kevin Steen; one sister Billie Phillips; and numerous grandparents, uncles, aunts, family and friends.

A gathering will be held from 10:30 to 11 a.m., with a Celebration of Life immediately following at 11 a.m., on Friday, December 3, at Little Angels Cemetery near Iberia with Jim Humphrey officiating.
