Obituary
Shirley L. Miller, age 75, of St. Elizabeth, died Tuesday, April 22, 2008, at her home. She was born in St. Elizabeth on August 28, 1932, daughter of William A. and Elsie (Bailey) Grosvenor. In 1951, in Elwood, Indiana, she was married to Robert E. Miller, who preceded her in death on November 9, 1990.
She was a homemaker and a member of Humphreys Creek Christian Church.
Survivors include one son, Charles W. Miller and wife Connie of St. Elizabeth; three step-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Donald Miller; and one brother, Floyd Grosvenor.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. on Friday, April 25, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Roy L. Gilkey officiating. Interment will be in Jarrett Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Humphreys Creek Christian Church.
