Stanley "Bud" Hodge, age 65, of St. Anthony, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2015, at his home. He was born in Iberia on June 29, 1950, son of the late Arthur and Inez (Farrow) Hodge. On August 24, 1973, in Van Cleve, Bud married Judy Jane Hart, who preceded him in death on November 25, 2001.
Bud worked at Osage Lumber, Kraml Wood Products, and later worked at Diamond Dogfood until his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and spoiling them rotten.
He is survived by two sons, Ronnie Hodge of Waynesville and Cliff Hodge of St. Anthony; three daughters, Jeannie Stone of St. Anthony, April Wieberg of St. Anthony, and Melanie Hodge of Ulman; five grandchildren, Jenny and Paige Stone, Cherish and Levi Wieberg, and Cole Bax; five brothers, Paul Hodge, Jerry Hodge, Carl Hodge, Pete Hodge, and Bill Hodge; one brother-in-law, Terry Voyles; and one sister-in-law, Dot Rensch.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Marla "Josie" Hodge and his twin sister, Rhonda Huhuman; and three sisters-in-law, Ann Cowen, Linda Voyles, Jo Vinson; and one brother, Carlos "Hank" Hodge.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 p.m., on Wednesday, September 16, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Lloyd Mattocks will officiate. Interment will be in Dake Cemetery near Iberia.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the Bud Hodge Memorial Fund.
