Stella Marie Wilson, age 92, of Eldon, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Brumley on September 3, 1933, daughter of the late William Wesley and Cora Emma (Davenport) Patterson. On September 27, 1957, Stella was united in marriage to Basil Wilson, who preceded her in death on July 18, 1957. On September 29, 1973, in Iberia, Stella was united in marriage to Vernia Wilson, who preceded her in death on May 9, 1999.

Throughout her life, Stella was a dedicated and hardworking woman. In addition to being a loving homemaker, she cleaned motels, worked at Kramel Woods, spent time employed at the shoe factory in Eldon, and later worked at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center, where she served others with care and commitment. In her free time, Stella enjoyed sewing and collecting ladies’ head vases. She took pride in making beautiful things with her hands and found joy in the simple pleasures of creativity and handiwork. Stella was a faithful member of Hickory Point Baptist Church in Iberia.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Wilson; grandson, Joshua Wilson; two grandchildren, Sophia and Anora; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her three sisters, Dora Huffmann, Wilma Martin, and Camilla Dake; and one brother, Joseph “Joe” Patterson.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Brandon Kissinger officiating. Interment will be held in Hickory Point Cemetery near Iberia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Hickory Point Cemetery.
