Obituary
Summer Alexis Shipp, age 57, of Kansas City, died October 7, 2007. She was born in Granite City, Illinois, on January 16, 1950, daughter of Timothy and Cora Ida (McCullough) Burns.
She was small in stature, but Summer had a huge heart and a passion to make people smile. She will be remembered with love and affection by those lucky enough to have known her. Her tragic and mysterious disappearance is still shocking to us all, but the recent "Celebration of Life" Services brought Joy and Peace to many.
Survivors include her daughter, Brandy Shipp; her two brothers, Johnny and Danny McCullough; and her mixed terrier, Alex.
Graveside services will be at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, at Livingston Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the CUE Center for Missing Persons.
