Thomas "Tom" Malmberg, age 65, of Iberia, passed away on April 26, 2021, at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City. He was born in Kansas City, MO on June 9, 1955, son of the late Otis and Imogene (Pemberton) Malmberg. On December 21, 1975, in Iberia, Tom was united in marriage to Judy Woolery.
Tom is survived by Judy, his wife of 45 years; three daughters, Jeanne Spencer of Saint Charles, MO; Jackie (Huan) Campbell-Yan of Kansas City, MO; and Jamie (Kevin) Breen of Edmond, OK; six grandchildren, Eliot, Madeline, and Lilli Spencer, Adam Campbell, and Trent and Caleb Breen; bonus sons, Jason Spencer and Aaron Campbell; siblings Wanda Barron of Charleston, SC, Pam (John) Walters of Prescott, KS, and Rusty Malmberg of Norman, OK; special uncle, Donnie (Cindy) Malmberg of Kansas City, KS; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Tom was an avid fan of the Kansas City Chiefs and he enjoyed playing cards, history, and listening to 70's classic rock. He owned and operated Appliance Parts of Jefferson City for 14 years. He was part of the Southside Jaycees of OKC, served on the board of Moore Girls Softball Association, coached girls' softball, and volunteered at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
