Troyce Curtis Jones, age 69, of Iberia, passed away Sunday, April 29, 2012, at his home. He was born in Alton, Illinois on January 22, 1943, son of the late James B. and Betty Lee (East) Jones. On July 7, 1961, in Illinois, Troyce married Reta Riley. He later married Connie Sue Smith who preceded him in death.
Troyce attended Iberia High School. He retired from the United States Air Force in 1981.
He is survived by four sons, Kelley Jones of North Carolina, Dennis Jones of North Carolina, Christopher Jones of Guam, and Troyce Jones Jr. of North Carolina; eight grandchildren, Samantha Jones, Tyler Jones, Preston Jones, Christina Jones, Cole Jones, Trent Jones, Alan Jones, and Riley Jones; one great-grandson, Zackery Jones; and three brothers, Gary Jones, James Jones, and Marty Jones.
He was also preceded in death by one sister, Willaneta Jones.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
