Truman Ottis Pierce, age 76, of Brumley, passed away on Friday, August 13, 2021, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. He was born in Brumley on April 1, 1945, son of the late Ralph and Bonnie (Hart) Pearce.
Truman was an avid collector of knives and clocks and enjoyed going to flea markets. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Christian Church in Iberia.
He is survived by his sister, Emma Pearce (Doyle Hogue), brother, Alfred Pearce (Minnie); nieces and nephews, Donald Steward, Raynetta Amos (Monte), Larry Steward (Chas), Bonnie Curnutt (Tom), Rodney Pearce, Rosetta Pearce and Michael Momah; long-life friends, Pat Rowden and Danny Rowden; and his canine companion, Rocky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Bonnie Pearce; sister, Thelma Steward; and nephews, James Pearce and Junior Pearce.
A memorial graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 20, at Gott Cemetery near Ulman.
