Vernal Kleo Robertson, known to his family and friends as Kleo, age 94, of Iberia, passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. He was born in Miller County on August 7, 1923, son of the late Aubrie and Emma (Burnham) Robertson. On August 15, 1942, in Tuscumbia, Kleo married Betty Jean Heltzell, who preceded him in death on October 12, 2013.
Kleo owned and operated Robertson Equipment where he sold Massey Ferguson tractors for 39 years. He was an avid sportsman and antique collector.
Kleo was a member of several organizations including the Iberia Cemetery Board, Soil and Water Conservation, and was a devoted member of the Iberia First Christian Church.
He is survived by three children, Dwight Robertson and wife Christi of Iberia, David Robertson and wife Deirdre of Iberia, and Julia Monroe and husband Kelly of Camdenton; six grandchildren, Steve Robertson of Brumley, Austin Robertson of Springfield, Tyler Robertson of Carlsbad, California, Natasha Herbert of Grain Valley, Nichole Stephens of Osage Beach, and Josh Monroe of Kansas City; 13 great-grandchildren; one sister, Lucille Steen of Iberia; and three sisters-in-law, Patsy Law of Sequine, Texas, Roberta "Bobby" Pemberton of Iberia, and Laura Jo Phillips of Kansas City.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty and his parents, Aubrie and Emma Robertson.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 (noon) with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Monday, February 19, at Iberia First Christian Church with Rev. Stan Way officiating. Interment will be held at Iberia Cemetery.
