Virgie Lee Richards, age 83, of Iberia, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Iberia on August 7, 1935, daughter of the late Clarence and Lottie (Allee) Wall. In September of 1974, Virgie married Robert "Bob" Richards, who preceded her in death on September 6, 2011.

Virgie attended Brays Advent Christian Church.

She is survived by two sons, Mike Moore and wife Charlotte of Iberia and Bruce Moore and wife Lisa of Camdenton; step-daughter, Brenda Bernard and husband Andy of Oklahoma; six grandchildren, Leslie Stoumbough and husband Kent of Crocker, Evan Moore and wife Lacey of Richland, T.J. Moore and wife Jordan of Iberia, Cody Moore, Cooper Moore, and Kylee Moore; five great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Moore, Trevor Moore, Braxton Moore, Julia Moore, and Jolene Moore.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, Estal Wall of Abaline, Texas and one sister, Clarice Meredith of California.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Thursday, November 1, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Brian Duncan officiating. Interment will be in Curry Cemetery near Iberia.
