Wanda Sue Ash, age 83, of Brumley, passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017, at the Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Tuscumbia. She was born in Brumley on March 14, 1934, daughter of the late Frank M. Robinett and Roma (Jeffries) Rodden. On November 5, 1953, in Harrison, Arkansas, Wanda married William "Bert" Ash, who preceded her in death on March 27, 2005.
She is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Beal and husband Steve of Iberia and Rebecca Mitchell and husband Mike of Russellville; two sons, Jerry Ash of Brumley and John Ash and wife Laura of Omaha, Nebraska; three granddaughters, Leah Windsor and husband Jason of Columbia, Lana Caulliette and husband Josh of Springfield and Lindsay Mitchell of Russellville; one great-granddaughter, Reese Windsor; one great-grandson, Rhain Windsor; four half-sisters, Bonnie Ewing, Janie Messner, Carol Matsch, and Thelma Shields; and one half-brother, Lonnie Rodden.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by three half-brothers, 2 half-sisters, and her stepmother, Nellie Mae (Love) Robinett.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with a Celebration of Life immediately following at 11 a.m., on Saturday, May 6, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Warren Mitchell will officiate.
