Wanda B. Gardner, age 90, of Iberia, passed away on Tuesday, February 26, 2013, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. She was born in Miller County on April 8, 1922, daughter of the late Ovel and Alma (Humphrey) Wilson. On December 25, 1941, in Iberia, Wanda married John Raymond (Red) Gardner, who preceded her in death on June 24, 1986.
Wanda was a member of Bray's Advent Christian Church near Iberia.
She is survived by one daughter, Judy Howk and husband Bob of Iberia; one granddaughter, Denise Minor and husband Dean of Huntsville; two grandsons, Todd Howk and wife Stacie of Iberia and Troy Howk and wife Carlye of Pleasant Hill; and six great-grandchildren, Bradley Minor, Ashley Howk, Allison Minor, Emily Minor, Gabe Howk, and Lincoln Howk.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Saturday, March 2, 2013, at Bray's Advent Christian Church near Iberia. Rev. Greg McClain will officiate. Interment will be in Union Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions may be made to Union Cemetery.
