Wanda Glee (Long) Mashburn, left this world on Wednesday, June 2, 2021, at the age of 87. She was born on January 21, 1934, daughter of the late Willis and Doris (McCombs) Long. On April 7, 1950, in Waynesville, Wanda was united in marriage to Archie Leroy Mashburn, who preceded her in death on July 20, 1999.

Wanda lived a long-wonderful life filled with great joy and love. She spent most of her time outdoors enjoying nature while picking flowers and collecting rocks with her chihuahua, Sarah. Wanda was a faithful member of Concord Christian Church near Crocker.

She is survived by two sons, Ernie Mashburn of Iberia and Roy Dale (Vesta) Mashburn of Richland; two daughters, Joyce Elaine (Jerry) Plemmons of Iberia and Elizabeth Ann (Fred) Stafford of Crocker; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to her parents and loving husband, she was also preceded in death by brother, Leonard Long; sister, Louis Lee Burgess; daughter-in-law, Kay Phillips; and grandson-in-law, Johnny Rodden.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., with services immediately following at 11 a.m., on Saturday, June 5, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Bro. Lee Todd officiating. Interment will be held in Madden Cemetery near Iberia.
