Obituary
Wanda M. McCubbin, age 84, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, November 3, 2014, at her son's home in Olathe, Kansas. She was born in Moberly on May 15, 1930, daughter of the late Brady and Maxa (Poe) Vanhuss. On December 11, 1949, in Moberly, Wanda married Arthur Dennis McCubbin, who preceded her in death.
She is survived by one daughter, Diana Simmons and husband Allen of Poplar Bluff; two sons, Robert McCubbin of Olathe, Kansas and Samuel McCubbin and wife Lesa of Bellevue, Nebraska; seven grandchildren, Raymond Simmons, Mark Simmons, Misha Simmons, Whitney McCubbin, Samantha McCubbin, Robert McCubbin, and Thomas McCubbin; and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 2:30 to 3 p.m., with services immediately following at 3 p.m., on Saturday, November 8, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Deacon Allen Simmons will officiate. Interment will be in Hickory Point Cemetery near Iberia.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Hickory Point Cemetery.
