Obituary

Wayman Myron Duncan, age 85, of Eldon, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at Eldon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was born on December 2, 1938, son of the late John Henry and Minnie Florence (Rodden) Duncan.

Wayman served with U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany.  He worked in Columbia as a maintenance for the military and later worked at Playcraft Boat Factory in Richland.  He cherished the moments spent with his family.  Wayman was devoted to his faith.  He enjoyed studying the Bible and was lifelong member at Mt. Union Church.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his eight siblings, Henry Monroe "Roe" Duncan, Joseph "Joe" Duncan, Frank Duncan, Wayne Duncan, Milton Duncan, Anna Jean Bogart, Delcia Duncan, and Harold Duncan; two nieces, one nephew; one great nephew and one great-niece.

Graveside service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, at Mt. Union Cemetery near Brumley.

Arrangements are under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia.
