Arthur Wayne Vaughan, age 92, of Iberia, passed away on Friday July 17, 2020 at his home.  He was born in Maries County on January 15, 1928, son of the late Rainey and Florence (Connor) Vaughan.  On September 6, 1947, in Dixon, Wayne married Donna Ruth Renfrow and together they were blessed with 68 years of marriage.  Donna preceded him in death on July 10, 2016.

Wayne was a very faithful member of Iberia United Methodist Church since 1960, where he regularly served as lay speaker.  He was employed by the Highway Department for 19 years and Osage Asphalt for 20 years.

He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Witt and husband Allen of Iberia; two grandsons, John Witt and wife Lauri of Overland Park, Kansas and Nathan Witt and wife Kelly of Seminole, Florida; two great-grandsons, Alex Witt and Carter Witt; two great-granddaughters, Allie Witt and Ella Witt; One brother, Kenneth Vaughn; special caregiver Diana (Hogue) Luttrell and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents and loving wife, Donna, he was also preceded in death by one son, Terry Vaughan; two brothers, Wesley and Walter; three sisters, Faye, Emogene and Margie.

Visitation will be held from 10 a.m to 1 p.m, with services immediately following at 1 p.m, on Friday, July 24 ^th , at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia with Manuel Seaton officiating.  Interment with military honors will be held at Dick Lawson Cemetery near Iberia.
