Wilburn Junior Wilson, age 71, of Iberia, died Friday, October 12, 2007, at Lake Regional Hospital. He was born in Quaker, Missouri, on August 16, 1936, son of Roy and Irene (Blair) Wilson. On November 16, 1957, in St. Louis, he was married to Esther Lee Malmberg, who survives at the home.
He worked for 44 years at Bussmann Fuse in Ellisville retiring in 1997.
Other survivors include two daughters, Sheila Farnham and husband Mike of Iberia, and Donna Whitwell and husband Mark of St. Peters; one son, David Wilson and wife Julie of Trimble; two brothers, Gene Wilson and wife Sue of O'Fallon, and Ronnie Wilson and wife Nancy of St. Charles; two sisters, Shirley Pankey of St. Louis and Velma Randazzo of St. Peters; two brothers-in-law, Bob Malmberg and wife Joyce of Camdenton, and Randy Malmberg and wife Becky of Iberia; one sister-in-law, Anna Jean Swope of Warrensburg; five grandchildren, Christa Luu and husband Toan, Teri Wilson, Kevin Wilson and wife Liana, Ashley Whitwell, and Matt Whitwell; and three great-grandchildren, Jonah, Jaden, and Maggie Luu.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Wilma Gunn and Mildred Loughridge; one brother, Bill Wilson; and one brother-in-law, Jake Malmberg.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 15, at Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Rev. Gene Edwards will officiate. Interment will be in Madden Cemetery near Iberia.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
