Obituary

Wilford K. Robb, age 89, of Eldon, died Wednesday, March 8, 2006, at Eldon Nursing and Rehab. He was born in Higbee on October 17, 1916, a son of the late Asca and Beulah Maud (Williams) Robb. On September 26, 1940, in Higbee, he was married to Wilella Cloyd, who preceded him in death in 1991. On February 26, 1993, in Fulton, he was married to Evelyn Nelson, who survives at the home.

Wilford was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in France and Belgium. He was a meat cutter for Kroger and IGA and retired after 40 years. He was also a deacon and Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church in Eldon.

Others who survive him include: two sons, Kenneth Robb and wife Vicki of Weatherford, Texas and David Robb and wife Susan of Bloomington, Illinois; two grandchildren, Sandra Bernardi and Michael Robb; three great grandchildren, Nicole Bernardi, Kevin and Conner Robb; one brother; Lemuel Robb of Huntsville and one sister, Geraldine Kirby of Sedalia.

Two brothers, Wilbur and Orville Robb, also preceded him in death.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, at First Baptist Church in Eldon. Pastor Randall Bunch and Rev. Bob Buster will officiate. Interment with military honors under the direction of Miller County VFW Post #2442 will be in Eldon City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, March 10, at Rekus Funeral Home in Eldon.
