Obituary

William Charles Allen Musick, age 81, of Tuscumbia, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City. He was born at his family's home in Tuscumbia on December 7, 1939, son of the late Elmer and Gladys (Scott) Musick. On January 8, 1983, in Springfield, Charles was united in marriage to Carol Ann Musick, who preceded him in death on November 28, 2014.

Charles was a member and an Elder of the Tuscumbia Christian Church. In his younger years, Charles was employed as a veterinarian technician, he also enjoyed working as foreman for Enloe Aluminum, and many may remember him for his carpet business. He began a later career as owner and operator of C&C Convenience Store in Tuscumbia, St. Elizabeth, Freeburg, Eugene and Russellville.

He was a long-term board member of Miller County R-III Schools and enjoyed supporting the school thru the years to include attending his grandchildren's school activities and ballgames.

Charles enjoyed traveling, bird hunting, playing his guitar and golfing with friends while living in Arizona.

He is survived by four children, Tim (Joyce) Musick of Tuscumbia, Teresa (Warren) Blanchard of Jefferson City, John (Lisa) Stout of LaPorte, Texas, and Kimberly (Marshall IV) Humphreys of Ulman; proud grandfather of 15 grandchildren, Justin (Ashley) Musick, Jordyn (Ethan) Bax, Ethan (Haley) Musick, Zachary (Crystal) Wilbers, Brooke (Luke) Kerns, Sydney Blanchard (Macklin) Bishop, Thomas Blanchard, Mia Blanchard, Cody (Christina) Stout, Lacey Stout, Lauren Stout (Raoul), Emily (Logan) Rogers, Marshall (Hillary) Humphreys V, Tara (Dodge) Andersen, and Zane (Rebecca) Humphreys; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Dink (Paula) Musick of Spring Garden; and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis Musick and Conley Musick.

A family graveside service will be held at a later date at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Tuscumbia with Bro. Stephen McFadden officiating.
