William "Webb" Ash, age 81, of Eldon, formerly of Brumley, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011, at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach. He was born in Brumley on June 11, 1929, son of the late Clinton and Lola (Phillips) Ash. On November 3, 1976 in Brumley he married Thelma Ruth McComb, who survives at the home.

He is also survived by two children, Dale McComb and fiancé Vonda Hammond of Brumley and Joanie Lodge and husband Justin of Eldon; nine grandchildren, Shiana McComb, Dakota McComb, Brianna McComb, Tyler McComb, Morgan McComb, Aaron McComb, Christian McComb, Roland Lodge, and Alexandria Lodge; and one brother, Curt Ash of Jefferson City.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Tom Ash and Warren Ash.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 12 (noon), with services immediately following at 12 (noon), on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Bro. Rex Freeman will officiate. Interment will be in Robinett Cemetery in Brumley.
