William “Billy” Rawl Luttrell, Jr., age 73, of Iberia, passed away on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Richland Care Center. He was born in Tuscumbia on February 5, 1953, son of the late William Rawl and Ila Lora (Rowden) Luttrell, Sr.

Billy enjoyed attending his grandchildren’s baseball and softball games and was always their biggest fan on and off the field. He worked at Iberia R-V, where he wore many hats throughout his numerous years of employment, including maintenance supervisor and bus driver. Known throughout the community for his kindness and devotion to his family, Billy had a smile that could light up a room and a heart of gold that touched the lives of everyone he met.

He was a proud member of the Iberia Masonic Lodge and the Shriners. In his free time, Billy enjoyed taking rides on his motorcycle, casting a line while fishing, making homemade ice cream, and gathering with others for fish fries. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his family, creating memories through the simple moments and traditions he loved most.

He is survived by his daughters, Misty (Preston) Duncan and Courtney Luttrell; son, Jacob (Sarah) Luttrell; grandchildren, Tyler, Abbigail (Rich), Isaac, Wyatt (Shelby), Shauntee, and Lillian; great-grandchildren, Jameson, Sadie, Porter, Landry, and Arthur; two brothers, Gary Luttrell and Dude (Jeanie) Luttrell; brother-in-law, Joe Shiverdeck; and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Shiverdeck; grandson, Joseph Smolich; sister-in-law, Colene Luttrell; and nephew, Cameron Shiverdeck.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., with a Masonic Service immediately following at 6 p.m., on Friday, August 14, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Inurnment will be held at another date at Brays Cemetery near Iberia.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the Springfield Shriners.
