William "Bill" Koehler, age 68, of Meta, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2011, at Truman VA Hospital in Columbia. He was born in Jefferson City on September 23, 1942, son of the late Frank and Leona Catherine (Hoeller) Koehler.
Bill served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was a floor covering installer for 35 years. He loved the outdoors and visiting with friends.
He is survived by two brothers, Frank Koehler, Jr. and John Koehler both of Meta; one sister, Mary Ann Farber of Los Angeles, California; and two nephews, Jason Farber and Scott Farber.
His body has been cremated under the direction of Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Meta. A graveside service will be held at a later date.
