Yvonne Decarlo Dake, age 70, of Iberia, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024, at her home.  She was born in Wyatt, MO on April 28, 1954, daughter of the late Dolan and Betty (Knapp) Ray.  On September 14, 1985, at Brays Advent Christian Church, Yvonne was united in marriage to Joe Dake, who survives at their home.

Yvonne enjoyed the quiet beauty of her home with her family and loved taking camping and fishing trips with her husband, Joe.

In addition to her husband, Joe Dake, she is also survived by her children, Christine Holton, Gary Perkins, Dickey Ray, Kyle Dake, Joseph Dake, and Jennifer Douglas; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Brenda, Janie, Denny and Jim; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Linda.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 3, at Union Cemetery in Iberia.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Yvonne Dake Memorial Fund.
